Intervention Therapist
Job Description: The Intervention Therapist has primary responsibilities in providing the home-based exercise program and the locomotor training program. The Intervention Therapist will provide the interventions with a team of therapists and research assistants, schedule participants, coordinate participant schedules and transportation, maintain equipment and treatment space, document intervention delivery, and participant recruitment. The Intervention Therapist will undergo a training program to develop competency in the providing the interventions according to the RCT protocol. Can use a PT or a PTA
Blinded Evaluator
Job Description: LEAPS (Locomotor Experience Applied Post-Stroke) Blinded Evaluator The Blinded Evaluator will be a licensed physical therapist with clinical experience in adult neurorehabilitation, especially stroke. The Blinded Evaluator will be employed on a PRN contractual basis with hours ranging from 0-20 hours/week. Schedule flexibility is a must. The primary responsibility of the Blinded Evaluator is to conduct all evaluations of LEAPS participants including baseline and follow-up assessments as outlined in the LEAPS protocol and to enter these results into a web-based data entry system. The Blinded Evaluator will undergo a training program to develop competency in conducting all of the standardized assessments and competency in data entry. The successful candidate will be highly conscientiousness with a concern for detail. The Blinded Evaluator will report to the LEAPS Site Team Leader. PRN Schedules varies.
